I checked the distance of the 10k route that we did on last Friday. I went around the course on my bike and used the bike odometer. I got 10.51km on the odometer. So, a little bit over; .51km over.
A good turn out on Friday. We had 33 runnters. Very good. The weather was beautiful and hot. We needed water that's for sure. Thanks to Val and Ried for supplying ice cold water at the Arena parking lot. Brian Minish also set up a water station about 1/2 way on the 10k route.
Good job everybody, good to see you'all out. We'll keep in touch - maybe if anybody would like to set up another run? Anytime, we can use the mailing list to keep everybody in the loop.
